FarmRite is a group of seven agricultural organizations & three agricultural colleges that work directly with farmers and land stewards to bring best practices into the norms of agricultural production.
As a group, they are FarmRite and advocate for and collaborate on research that moves Alberta’s agriculture community into the future as a strong community serving global food needs. These collaborators serve Alberta’s agricultural producers that operate in a constantly changing, globally competitive and regulated industry.

Key to the success of this industry is constant research into the best methods for growing high quality food for domestic use and export. There never was nor will there ever be a time when agricultural production can simply do the same thing year after year and remain competitive in an open market.
New crops, stronger pest management strategies, better soil health regimes and technological advancements force change into what is essentially an ancient way of life. As with any occupation, some producers lead the pack in what they do, and these are the people that FarmRite and its collaborators support.
